Anyone getting this error message:

Code:
Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 554 : Recipient address rejected: Relay access denied

DEBUG MODE

Line : 164
File : smtp.php

I know what the error is, don't worry about it :P It'll be sorted some time this week. Anyone subscribed to topics won't receive emails until I've fixed this. Zico I think thats pretty much just you :P

When I say subscribed to topics I mean using the feature: "Notify me when a reply is posted". This means that when someone else posts the board checks to see who's subscribed the that thread and emails them. At the moment when the board tries to send emails it generates an error. I know why and plan to fix it. You might also have noticed some issues with the online score submission. I'm sure we'll sort that too ;o)

shovo, chaz...

another DEBUG problem has come up... about some "failure to send e-mail" thing when you register initially and when you send PM to somebody or when you post on a board that someone ticked the 'notify when someone replies' box

Pretty sure this is the mailer function being blocked by the host. If you are still with streamline I probably know how to fix this. Bug me on MSN tomorrow night!!! ;)

1. There's no "Real Name" written when you register, only a "*:"

2. When you are updating your profile, the real name field is blank and the blank overwrites it if you click 'submit'.

3. Theres like DEBUG error 164 or something about emails

4. Appanrently this Forum's version is 2.011 or something and they got a new version 2.022 - is it worth upgrading?

5 How do you set font size and make different coloured fonts when updating htm or php docs? i only know bold/italics

6. How do you archive stuff? 2005-07 is missing in the archives.

Had a look for this. I think there's alot of code completely missing so will have to check if Shovo has the complete code still.

Fixed this.

Good luck, I'm not doing 11 updates. You might be lucky enough that you can install all these with easymod.

CSS

Errr?!? You mean on the main site? You hope that Naeem or Shovo does it :P I don't know whether Shovo made this db driven.

I got a notification email for a PM today (which I hadn't before). So I guess that's working ok.

You really should fix the real name mod and perform the forum updates. If someone finds the mod install script for the real name mod I might be persuaded to try running everything through easymod (minimum effort).

no. But old school smileys like :) are way cooler anyway. I personally prefer :-), which seems to have come out of fashion lately.

I like old school ones too, except they have a white page with a red cross next to them which makes it look gash.
